The following video represents the brand new, vastly improved AI structure. Please ignore the gayass anime music I didn't realize it would record in the background.

So, I've seen all the good that you've done with that little flash demonstration at the top of your blog, and I can't watch the video because I use 56k(which is fucking GAY, I know), but I wanted to ask you mainly about how you'd optimize the X-Ray Engine, if you were going to at least, because this has always been a pain in my ass since the game came out. I had good hard ware, I had the right drivers, and from time to time my preformance hicups due to GSC's rather bad coding. If possible, can you PLEASE do something about this?
I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to improve performance from the vanilla variant, however there is a command called "-noprefetch" which you can use in your shortcut path that will probably help your performance. If you're struggling with the standard vanilla maximum settings, then the visual overhaul isn't going to help your performance at all.
Oh wow, I feel so stupid now, because noprefetch actually made the game a lot smoother, though on my system I still get moments where the game freezes up for a few seconds, usually when wheather is intense.
I'm actually suprised you've not gone insane already with this mod, because the X-Ray engine likes to act like a bitch a lot at times. When I modded a bit for SoC and Clear Sky, I raged for weeks just trying to get small things to work, but you seem to be doing better then most modders around. Is there going to be anything else you're planning on doing with the AI? Like have them respond to certain stimuli, such as something thrown at something?
Hey. This mod looks really cool. I have a question though: are you going to include xStream's and BAC9's (or however you spell his name) AI packs? You probably know about xStream, but the other one is a newer one that allows NPCs to fire grenade launchers that are attached to guns and a few other things. Mod looks great. Good luck!
